CCWA Offering Small Business Development Lunch & Learn Workshop
Risk Management & Small Business: Legal Risks

The Clayton County Water Authority’s (CCWA) Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) Program is offering a free lunch & learn, ‘Risk Management & Small Business: Legal Risks’, for small local businesses in the metro Atlanta area May 7  from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at CCWA’s Marie Barber Community Room located at 1600 Battle Creek Road in Morrow.

Guest speaker Amy Oraefo, Esquire and owner of Amy Oraefo, P.C. and Of Counsel to Taylor English, will cover essential topics such as:

Basic concepts of an effective contract including:

o          Understanding the contract terms

o          Understanding the service performance requirements

o          Understanding compensation under the contract terms

o          Understanding the contract indemnification terms

Registration is required for this event since it is a lunch & learn.  Lunch will be provided for registered attendees only. Walk-up registrations will not be taken.  To register, click here.

Ms. Oraefo focuses on the areas of Corporate, Entertainment, and Intellectual Property Law. Ms. Oraefo provides a wide range of transactional law services including contract review, drafting, and negotiation, business entity formation, and legal and business strategy consultation. She has a passion for community service and her desire to encourage and motivate individuals to pursue their dreams proves to be her driving force. Currently, Ms. Oraefo is a member of several organizations and initiatives that promote the growth of entrepreneurship and entertainment within the community
