Meet Customer Service Specialist Lakeshia Bennett. Lakeshia works at our HQ Customer Service lobby on Battle Creek Road where she ensures customers’ payments are applied correctly to their account, answers account questions, processes adjustments, move-ins, transfers or move-out orders. She also creates emergency service requests when needed.

Lakeshia is passionate about helping customers and does it with grace and professionalism. She greets everyone with a bright smile and her positive energy is contagious. She averages 1,055 transactions each month.

What she likes best about her job is talking to people. “I love the feeling of helping someone solve problems they’re having,” she says. Customer Service is definitely a great fit for Lakeshia and her passion for it shines brightly. She has only been with CCWA a little over one year and consistently earns 5-star reviews on Google Business, letting us know customers appreciate her energy and helpfulness.

According to Lakeshia, customer service is an attitude and to be successful in this role you must have a passion for serving others. There are challenges though. The biggest challenge being that she may not be able to provide customers with the answer they are looking for. “However, I always provide other options that may be helpful,” she adds. #waterprofessional
