The Clayton County Water Authority is maintaining a registry for vendors who have expressed interest in doing business with our entity. If you would like to add your business to our registry, please complete the registration by clicking on the link below and following the instructions. As the need arises for a particular product or service, Clayton County Water Authority will use this registry as one source of potential vendors. Please note that Clayton County Water Authority cannot guarantee that a vendor will be notified of every solicitation for quotes, bids or proposals.

Bids and Contracting

Effective December 31, 2014, bids are advertised in the "LEGAL ADS" of the Clayton News Daily on Wednesdays.

Bid information posted on our website is provided as a public service and is not intended to be a formal advertisement for quotes, bids or proposals. Every attempt is made to ensure the accuracy of the information posted within this website. Questions concerning quotes, bids, and/or proposals should be directed to the Clayton County Water Authority Procurement Department via email to or by calling 770.960.5223.

Bid and proposal submissions must be delivered as requested in the respective procurement document. Clayton County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and/or all quotes/bids/proposals, or any part thereof, to re-advertise and to waive technicalities. Bids and/or proposals are not accepted via email or fax and will not be considered.

RFI Title:  Polymer Performance Evaluation

The Clayton County Water Authority is inviting vendors to participate in a polymer performance evaluation at our three Water Reclamation Facilities, from March through September 2017.  Vendors are encouraged to bring their products to our facilities and run a series of tests to determine which product(s) they would like to run through our performance evaluation process. Any and all polymer(s) deemed “successful” will be included in our 2018 annual bid for chemicals.

As a part of an ongoing program to locate, prioritize and remove infiltration and inflow (I/I) from the collection system, the Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) intends to contract for the annual services of an experienced contractor to complete sewer system evaluation surveys (SSES) for the period January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. 

CCWA reserves the right to award to a backup contractor to ensure our requests can be performed as needed, to meet quality, schedule, and other requirements. A combination of temporary flow monitoring studies, sewer capacity models, risk assessment, and other data drive the decisions for where to perform SSES.

Proposals will be evaluated by CCWA staff and ranked based on the criteria items outlined in the RFP package. In addition, Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) participation will be taken into consideration in evaluating this proposal. 

The contract may be extended for a second and third twelve (12) month period by mutual written consent by both parties with no changes in the terms, conditions, or prices.
