The Clayton County Water Authority is maintaining a registry for vendors who have expressed interest in doing business with our entity. As the need arises for a particular product or service, Clayton County Water Authority will use this registry as one source of potential vendors. Please note that Clayton County Water Authority cannot guarantee that a vendor will be notified of every solicitation for quotes, bids or proposals.

Bids and Contracting

Effective December 31, 2014, bids are advertised in the "LEGAL ADS" of the Clayton News Daily on Wednesdays.

Bid information posted on our website is provided as a public service and is not intended to be a formal advertisement for quotes, bids or proposals. Every attempt is made to ensure the accuracy of the information posted within this website. Questions concerning quotes, bids, and/or proposals should be directed to the Clayton County Water Authority Procurement Department via email to CCWA_Procurement@ccwa.us or by calling 770.960.5223.

Bid and proposal submissions must be delivered as requested in the respective procurement document. Clayton County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and/or all quotes/bids/proposals, or any part thereof, to re-advertise and to waive technicalities. Bids and/or proposals are not accepted via email or fax and will not be considered.

The Clayton County Water Authority will open sealed proposals from qualified solar power providers at its offices located at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260 on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. (local time) for Solar Energy Procurement Agreement (SEPA) Proposals.  Any proposals received after the specified time will not be considered. 

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. (local time) at the WB Casey Water Reclamation Facility, located at 688 Flint River Road, Jonesboro, GA 30238. At this meeting, solar power providers will have the opportunity to see the proposed solar sites along with asking project and proposal-related questions.  If a company representative cannot attend the meeting during the date and time specified above, contact Marshall Maddox at marshall.maddox@ccwa.us, or 770-960-5213 to schedule a site visit. At least 24 hours advance notice must be given for all site visits.

The Clayton County Water Authority (“CCWA”) is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to receive proposals from qualified solar power providers to provide solar energy via solar photovoltaic (PV) installations at various locations owned by CCWA.  Specific details of the locations can be found in Appendix A.  The details within Appendix A provide a general guide for the sites, the site’s power demand, the suggestions interconnection point and a conceptual solar layout.  Proposer should use this information as a general guide and know that proposals that provide some deviation to the suggested layouts within are encouraged.

Bid Opening: Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. local time

 

The Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) will open sealed bids at its offices located at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260, on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. local time for Water and Wastewater Treatment Chemicals. 

CCWA intends to award this bid to the most responsive responsible bidder based on the specifications indicated herewith for a twelve (12) month period, from May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019. By submitting a sealed bid, the bidder must agree to provide all stated goods at the bid price for the specified twelve month period per the terms and conditions contained within this bid document. All things being equal, orders will be placed by purchase order with the bidder offering the lowest unit price on a per item basis. Prompt and reliable response on each order is as equally important as the lowest price. Orders will be placed on an "as needed, when needed” basis. CCWA does not guarantee any minimum or maximum quantities under this bid. Deliveries must be made to our respective facility locations.
