Bids and Contracting

Effective December 31, 2014, bids are advertised in the "LEGAL ADS" of the Clayton News Daily on Wednesdays.

Bid information posted on our website is provided as a public service and is not intended to be a formal advertisement for quotes, bids or proposals. Every attempt is made to ensure the accuracy of the information posted within this website. Questions concerning quotes, bids, and/or proposals should be directed to the Clayton County Water Authority Procurement Department via email to CCWA_Procurement@ccwa.us or by calling 770.960.5223.

Bid and proposal submissions must be delivered as requested in the respective procurement document. Clayton County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and/or all quotes/bids/proposals, or any part thereof, to re-advertise and to waive technicalities. Bids and/or proposals are not accepted via email or fax and will not be considered.

The Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) will open sealed proposals from qualified Buyers to market, transport and distribute pelletized biosolids trade named Agri-Plus 650 for beneficial use from CCWA’s W.B. Casey Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The proposals will be opened at CCWA’s Main Office located at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260 on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. (local time) for Pellet (Agri-Plus 650) Purchase Agreement (Proposals).  Any proposals received after the specified time will not be considered. 

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. (local time) at the W.B. Casey WRRF, located at 688 Flint River Road, Jonesboro, GA 30238.

In an effort to promote responsible environmental practices the proposal package is available in electronic (Adobe PDF) format and can be requested by calling 770-960-5223, M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or by e-mail to CCWA_Procurement@ccwa.us.  Buyers will need to provide contact information and an email address and any file size transfer limits to insure email transmittals can be made.  A hardcopy bid package can also be requested at a cost of $25.

Pre-Bid Meeting: Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. (local time)

 

Separate sealed Bids for the construction of Shamrock, Blalock, & Hooper Reservoirs – Water Quality Improvements will be received by the Clayton County Water Authority at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260 until 2:00 p.m. local time, the 28th day of June, 2018, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.  Any bids received after the specified time will not be considered.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Hicks Water Production Facility (WPF), 1693 Freeman Road, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236 on June 5th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. local time, to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend; however, attendance is not required. 

The Project consists of improvements at two sites - Shamrock and Blalock Reservoirs site and the Hooper Reservoir site.
The Bidding Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Competitive Sealed Bid, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Construction Contract, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, General and Supplementary Conditions, Specifications, Drawings, and Addenda may be examined at the main offices of the Owner at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia.  Bid documents may be obtained from CH2M, Embassy Row 400, Suite 600, 6600 Peachtree Dunwoody Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30328, upon payment (check or money order only) of $100.00, non-refundable, for each set of Documents which will be provided electronically on a USB drive. Price includes two-day shipping.
