Water Service Line Insurance Not Affiliated with Water Authority

CCWA advises customers that this insurance is being offered by an independent company

Some CCWA customers have received a letter like the one shown above from an independent company that provides water service line coverage.

Some Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) customers have recently received a letter from Home Service USA Repair Management Corporation offering water service line coverage.

CCWA officials want to ensure customers that this coverage is being solicited by an independent company and is not affiliated with the Water Authority. Some customers have contacted the Water Authority about the letter because they thought the coverage was being required by the Water Authority.

"While customers are responsible for any repairs to the service line from the meter box to their house, we want to make sure our customers know that this service line coverage is being offered by an independent company and is not something we are requiring," says P. Michael Thomas, General Manager for CCWA.
