New Lower Fee for Payments Made Online or By Phone
CCWA Announces Paymentus Corporation as its new third party payment processor
Clayton County Water Authority customers may pay their bill online or by phone for less now that Paymentus Corporation is the Authority’s new third party payment processor.
CCWA contracts out this third party service, but it works diligently to offer a service that provides the lowest fee possible. Since October 2008, the convenience fee for this service has been reduced from $3.95 to $2.75 per transaction.
• To pay by phone, call 1.877.822.9198, or click the Online Bill Pay button on the left side of the web site.
• Paymentus charges a convenience fee of $2.75 per transaction.
• Payments may be made using Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Debit Cards with Visa or Master Card logos, and Electronic Check.
• Customers will be able to view the latest, most accurate balance before they make a payment.
Additional payment options include:
Paying Online Without A Service Fee Using Your Online Banking
Customers may pay their water bill online and avoid a service fee by using their banking institution's online bill payment option. Since this payment comes directly from the customer’s bank account to the Water Authority (just like a mailed check), the customer is not charged a service fee. To use this option, you will need to log on to your banking institution's web site.
Paying Your Water Bill While Shopping at Walmart
Clayton County Water Authority customers can now pay their water bill while shopping at any Walmart location in the nation.

• Just take your current water bill to any Walmart location.
• Make a payment in cash or with a pin-based debit card.
• For a fee of $.88, payments will be delivered to CCWA (or other entity) within three business days.
• For a fee of $1.88 payments will be delivered to CCWA (or other entity) the next business day.
• Once the transaction is processed, the customer receives a receipt as proof of payment.
